GM Hu Ronghua's Sandwiched Horse Defense Treatise Chapter 11

In Chapter 11, Red would attack with the Central Cannon with 7th Pawn Advancement and Pawn Ranked Chariot. Similar methods of attack and defense are seen commonly in the Central Cannon vs. Screen Horse Defense opening system, and the names used by the Grandmaster were perhaps borrowed from there. There are five boards to this chapter.

• Board 1: Black 'Edge Cannon for Chariot Exchange Variation'. (Note: The name, by default, would specifically to refer to an important variation in the Central Cannon vs. Screen Horse Defense opening system.)
• Board 2: Black chooses the Right Elephat Variation.
• Board 3: Black chooses to Right Ranked Chariot Variation
• Board 4: Black chooses the 'High Chariot to protect Horse Variation' . (Note: Again, this is variation is specifically used to refer to a major variation in the Central Cannon vs. Screen Horse Defense opening system.)
• Board 5: Black chooses the Right Advisor Variation (A4+5). (Note: Again, this is variation is specifically used to refer to a major variation in the Central Cannon vs. Screen Horse Defense opening system.)
