Eunuch Chasing Emperor Kill 太监追皇帝 (tài jiàn zhuī huáng dì)

This kill shows the might of the humble pawn. When a pawn is able to come into proximity of the opponent's palace, a chariot can be used to help protect it and often the combination is lethal. There are many tactical possibilities.

It is also known as 三进兵 or advancing the pawn consecutively three times.

The main idea is to get the pawn to the either armpit file on the throat rank, whereby the chariot can be used for the final blow. Please see the examples below to understand more.
