The Big Four Endgame Puzzles
Earthworm Defeating Dragon
蚯蚓降龙

This is another one of the Big Four.  It is also one of the most complex of all time! Like The Gathering of the Seven Stars, it is basically a chariot vs pawn endgame puzzle.
According to the ancient rules and AXF rules, it would have been ruled a draw in some of the variations. However, it would a black win if the modern day Chinese rules were adhered to.
This masterpiece originated from <<竹香斋>> or <<The Bamboo Frangrance Manual>>. A few other ancient manuals also have it in its collection but it is generally accepted to have originated here.  In this game, the moves were recorded by 竹剑飘香 and painstakingly arranged from <<中国象棋谱>> and 朱鹤洲's contemporary study of 《竹香斋》等.
This is the url where I found the masterpiece in xq viewer format. http://blog.163.com/daohangdeng001@126/blog/static/121164899200962011414547/

It took me quite a few hours to subtitle them. There will be mistakes so tell me...
And to be very frank, I have never finished even one variation of the game in the past. Thank God for the Xq viewer...
Anyway, I am sure that you will get lost, so I have added 4 boards for your perusal.
