The first chapter deals the different types of scenarios that you might encounter in actual play, and how to make the correct judgement.
Section 1 is concerned with being left with a material disadvantage and this section is further subdivided into the following scenarios:
a) being down a chariot
b) being down a cannon
c) being down a horse
d) being down an elephant
e) being down an advisor
f) being down a pawn(s)
This section continues with the correct mindset to have when your opponent has more pawn(s) than you.
