This is a continuation of the previous page. Only two examples are discussed in this page, and they all show why 1r1c1a is a sure win against 1r2e. This is a rather lengthy and complex endgame situation that require a certain amount of skill. Very important tactics are shown. Please go through the variations and compare them at different stages to have a better grasp. And because comparison is so important, I have added 2 boards for each example for you to compare the variations.

I have redone GM Liu Dianzhong's lectures adding footnotes to his explanations to make things easier for the newcomer and I have tried my best to add the explanations to some of the variations to help the beginner appreciate the game better.
